| Sam Samarasinghe
has primary responsibility for the evaluation,
financing, and structuring of transactions, working in close relationship with the firm’s financing partners and professional advisors. With a career spanning over twenty years in the international capital and derivatives markets, Mr Samarasinghe has extensive experience in capital raising, investment evaluation, tax driven financial structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and financial risk management. He has worked in London, Luxembourg and Amsterdam, and has had responsibility for capital raising accumulating to several billions of dollars in the private and public debt and equity markets of Europe and the US. Prior to joining City Investments, he was, for 12 years, Group Treasurer at Tomkins PLC, a FTSE 100 company with global interests.
